Before You Leave

• Perform system and software updated to defend against malware
• Backup to NBCUniversal approved storage
• Remove unnecessary confidential data from all devices
• Use Two-Factor Authentication where at all possible

During Travel

• Disable remote auto connectivity and Bluetooth
• Guard devices to prevent theft and unauthorized access
• Avoid unsecured wi-fi networks and public computers
• Only charge on public stations or devices with a USB data blocker

Always

• Lock computer or mobile device when not in use
• Connect to VPN first when offsite; browse second
• Use caution when opening attachments or clicking links
• Delete emails that are suspicious or are from unknown sources
